Well, I suspect the reason you don't see is that that market for those wanting an e-reader and those wanting a graphic tablet are quite different.
I mean, on the one hand you have people who want to read books, and the other, artists.
Indeed, as the review of the one mentioned says:

Beyond that, any additional feature requires additional customer support. That is expensive.
