So far, they had every single book I ever wanted to buy and the delivery to the Sony is seamless and easy. Their website could do with a little 'make-up', but all in all it is a very fine store and I don't understand why it is constantly bashed here.

I'm with you! I buy most of my stuff from Sony, but also from Kobo. Depends on the pricing and the available coupons. (Just scored a book I've been waiting on - to come down in price - with a 20% off coupon from Sony.)
Kobo just announced that they "can" only quote me prices anymore in euros, despite the fact that I use a US credit card to make my purchases. Have to see what that does to the cost of buying from them - I think my US card will charge me for the conversion, while I KNOW my French credit card will charge a service fee for the "outside the EU" purchase. Won't stop me from buying from them - but it will complicate the comparisons a little bit.
