David - Kindle 3 WiFI and KoboWiFi

Hi every one, I am introducing myself as a new Kindle3 WiFi and Kobo WiFi user from Gold Goast Australia. Got the Kindle 3 from Amazon 1month ago for my wife and I to use. We both loved it very much and never read as much; the kindle is easy to use and the cover with light is worth the money in protecting the unit and ease to hold. Did not take long to hook up on to our router and get on line. We got lots of books free and on bargain from Amazon.
Only downside is getting books from other sources using different formats. The greatest plus is battery life between charges.

Very quickly we had to get another reader but decided to not to get another kindle for the above reason. We wanted to be able to widen our
book source with 2 different readers . Decided on the Kobo reader at our local Borders bookshop with cover. As I love reading old classics again. [We are both nearing 70 and retired.]Kobo comes with 100 free preloaded classics.
Battery life charged is pretty close to Kindle. Since then I hear Borders is on recievership so dont know what the future holds. The real plus is that it has an SD card slot to take 32 GB max card that one can download books from epub/pdf/adobe/DRM formats. We have downloaded library books on 2 weeks loan for free [5 at a time] from our local Library. So my wife and I can read lots of books from different sources from the 2 different ebooks.
