I stayed away from Circuit City's liquidation sale after I found out the horrendous terms that applied. First off, an outside firm was conducting the sale and that sent up warning flags. All sales were final and no exceptions. You couldn't even inspect the merchandise by opening the box. So if you bought a new monitor, sealed in the box, then immediately opened it in front of a cashier and the display was cracked, you were out of luck. You just bought yourself an expensive paperweight.
Liquidation sales? No thank you!
