Not necessarily. I have flat rate, more speed than I could ever use with my three comps and mobiles, so why don't allow others to connect to it? PCs are password protected, so no harm can be done, and I'm paying for flat rate and bandwidth anyway. So, a little bit of happiness for poorer neighbors and students passing by is not a bad idea.
