Before you take a bath: put a few spoonfuls of soda ash (soda) in you pan and fill it half with water. Let it boil lightly for half an hour. Then let the pan soak all night in this sodawater and; tomorrow morning: all blackness on the bottom of the pan will have loosened itself. Really.
