EDIT: Actually, you mentioned the Kindle for Android app a while back. To my knowledge, there have been no tools released that will remove the DRM from files downloaded to K4Android... yet. So if that is where all of your files came from, there's no way you'd be able to put them on your Kindle and read them. Or have I misinterpreted?

I haven't, but I will do, although it's beginning to look as though something is broken on my kindle - software wise that is.
OK, I've just seen your edit, I believe that the books in question still have the DRM, and were available a few days ago, they may never have been near the android app, but these form a very small percentage of the total books on the kindle.
