A couple of weeks ago I got a deal I couldn't resist on a second Sony Reader. I loaded it up with free science fiction books, and this week I loaned it to a friend who wanted to try it. He'll give it back to me in a couple weeks, and already another friend wants to try it after him. I suspect that owning two devices will do a lot more to make me into an evangelist, and an effective evangelist, than anything else would have done.
