For once I am with you, although I do not share what comes out of your representation of Jon. I'd rather remember the nice things of him. Which are many and not so common, around here and elsewhere.
The recluse caper is quite heavy. Obviously there has been a decision. There is not much that one can do except to pass a word of friendship. He never bothered me although he dropped me out of his friends (probably in one of his most clairvoyant moments) for a couple of weeks. On the contrary, he has seldom missed an occasion of being nice to me. Maybe he cannot stand stiffs. I hope that the powers to be change their mind. I do not think that is probable, maybe possible, just barely so. I do not see anything different for me to do except post this and keep doing what I was doing.
