I agree, it's one of Pratchett's weaker ones. I suppose it could be funny if you're a bit of an opera buff, alas, I'm not. Just finished
Unseen Academicals, the latest (for now) installment in the Discworld series and enjoyed it a lot.
I'm now in the middle of "
How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming" and am enjoying it very much, too. It offers a bit of an insight into astronomy (plus lots of other stuff) without overwhelming the layman.
