Add in QA, support and documentation costs. The hacks don't have any of that.
I can see people complaining because it doesn't work properly as they've dumped their entire unresized photo collection in there or the files aren't the correct ratio so they're not full screen etc...

Hey all they have to do is put it in the experimental section and those losers have no right to complain

My Kindle broke because I tried to use the experimental screensaver function. Blah blah blah I demand a $50 refund because of my frustration. Also, I want one day shipping for my replacement Kindle.
