You need to decide what it is that you want - a paperback book-sized fiction reader, or a larger device for reading A4/Letter type documents. Personally, one of the reasons I sold by iLiad was the fact that I found it too large to conveniently carry around, whereas with my CyBook Gen3 I can always have it unobtrusively with me.

Also, why are you specifically making an "either/or" choice between the V9 and the Sony? Have you ruled out the Gen3? What about the iLiad? Or the Kindle?

Note finally that the V9's production is currently delayed pretty much indefinitely. PVI (the screen manufacturer) are running their production lines flat-out trying to handle the demand for 6" screens for the Sony, Bookeen, and Kindle.
