Oh, I see what you mean now. I am not saying that one always gets the glare either. But I always get it when the Kindle is oriented so that it directly reflects the light from a point source to my eyes. Clearly, if I take a book or a sheet of paper and orient it in the same way, I get no glare and these orientations are actually the ones that I used to prefer for reading as they lead to a bright and rather evenly distributed light on the reading surface. Nevertheless, I am also always able to find another satisfying position - it is just a bit annoying sometimes.
