If you are wanting to read new books all at once that is impossible with any device, I'm not sure if the Sony does this but the kobo does (I don't the Kobo would suit what your wanting because of the lack of highlighting and more than one bookmark) is that you can sync up to six devices at once, Maybe with twenty five you could have groups of six reading the same book?
