I think people are more or less trained to think they will hate reading on LCD.

Nah, I'm going to go and sit on my lounge chair on the balcony and turn up the brightness on my Nook Color and read for a few hours straight without eye strain regardless of what some know-it-alls on here have apparently deicded I am capable of doing.
