So to me the nook color beats eink in three out 4 lighting conditions.
I think people are more or less trained to think they will hate reading on LCD.
I admit, I was one of those before I bought the nook color.

Nah, I'm going to go and sit on my lounge chair on the balcony and turn up the brightness on my Nook Color and read for a few hours straight without eye strain regardless of what some know-it-alls on here have apparently deicded I am capable of doing.
