The good news that the new features seem to be great.

The second issue is solved in 0.0.3d (holding down not required anymore, just tap). The reason has been explained in the corresponding post. Also in my long reply a few posts above I have mentioned the whole issue of apparent lacking of features. Well, I have only one source code available which is most certainly not the latest so I have to reinvent everything what has been added by Pocketbook after the source code they have published. The apparent difference is the zoom menu. On the 15.2 version you had a fairly large selection menu. The source code for this is not available to me. The one which I used was apparently written for a different device with cursor keys. See the changelog in the post above to see what I have reinvented.
Coming to your first issue you have mention: can you please elaborate a bit on that one? Do you mean the hardware keys? What do you expect they should do?
The current mapping for the left keys is to go left and right in the quickmenu. In the zoom menu you go to the next symbol to the left or with the left top button you increase the option (zoom or column view).
In reading mode you use these buttons to go half way up the screen or down the screen. Only if you see the whole page at once you will go to the next page.
So please explain me what you expect those buttons should do. Should the left button change the zoom level? That would be very unhandy because you won't be able to go to the next screen because with the right buttons you go to the next page but not to the next screen.
Also you said that all the touchscreen functionality has been removed. This is certainly not true. So please explain in detail what you mean by that.
Thanks.
