perhaps when they say 'glare' they actually mean 'reflection'. used that way, it is pretty much 'glare' free compared to something like the ipad.
it does have the glare for sure. it's probably about as glare-free as it's gonna get though (for now).
I kinda forgot about the glare myself, but now that you mention it I do remember noticing it quite a bit when i first got a kindle.
perhaps in time you'll begin not to notice it too...
I think the sony 650 has the touchscreen, yes?
In that case, there is more glare on it because of the touchscreen layer that is applied.
sounds pretty annoying. a big, BIG sacrifice for a touchscreen i would say.
