The easiest way to disable sending the files is:
comment out the line
"/var/log/messages 256"
in the file etc/tinyrot-files.conf
the tinyrot configuration is invoked by:
/usr/bin/showlog
The tinyrot.conf ask tinyrot-files.conf which files to be send by showlog,with our new confiruration: nothing
