I like the idea of a centralized ebook depository available to all, but I worry about things like censorhip of such a system. Centralized planning requires someone to say this will be uploaded to our depository and this one will not.

Unless the system simply allows for all texts to be uploaded, ah so nice! I suppose a collaborative effort of users should be enough to stem the flow of garbage texts into the system.

Some people like reading garbage texts so there has to be two layers to any central book depository, the first layer, the unfiltered layer, and then the second, filtered by anyone who chooses to donate a bit of their time to contribute to the filtering process.

But what we currently call librarys will not need to store these texts? They will be stored on a server in a room somewhere. So the server is the library, the users, the filters will be the librarians! YAY FOR US!
