Not to take part of any side and here stating I've never read Dan Brown besides the first few chapters of a translated version of "Digital Fortress", can't help noticing many hate him very much simply because "Da Vinci Code" messes and makes bad claims against big religious institution -- indeed the Catholic Church brought many into the anti-Brown crusade.
They will try to guise it under excuse the of bad writing, but their bias is actually another.
