I think that covers it for a lot of people, myself included. Even on the pbooks end- where they used to go into the library to browse, they now browse from home via the online catalogue, and just pop in real quick to pick up their holds.
Libraries aren't becoming obsolete, they're just changing formats.

What's in a name? That which we call a library / by any other name would still disseminate information and entertainment...
