I'm always going to have an eInk reader until I can get my sticky fingers on a Pixel Qi(or mirasol) screened tablet. Why? You might ask, because eInk is actually readable in sunlight/brightly lit rooms/areas unlike ANY LCD.
To that end, my PRS-505's batt's beginning to show signs that it's about time to break it down and replace the batt, so I picked up a $100 Kobo-WiFi(not nearly as nice as the Sony but seems more hackable which is always fun) from Borders in the likely event that I don't get around to it before the batt can't hold a charge for more than a few minutes any longer...
For me tablets/LCDs are nice for dark/poorly lit/night reading, PDFs, and misc. other things that require greater responsiveness and framerates hence the reason for me to also own those types, but w/Pixel Qi or mirasol I could get the very best of both in a single device, although I'd still waffle between 10" for home use and 7" for carrying around just because of form factor manageability... (and 10" is really nicer for some things like PDFs...
