Good to have your company, Bobat. A brave time to visit Egypt ... at least you won't be overwhelmed by other tourists. There's a Kindle-dedicated sub forum here where you'll be able to ask good advice about using your device in that country. I can see no problems as long as you have an a local adapter for your charger. They cost a buck or two. Won't send you to the poor house. Have a great, memorable and safe trip. Very best wishes. Neil
