I don't doubt that some minor upgrades will be applied to the K2 but they will be minor and pretty unimportant. I think the K1 had one update after the K2 was announced and that added synching to the device. I rememember hoping that the K1 would get collections whent he K2 got them but no such luck.

That is when I bought my DXG. Well, the price drop was enough that I felt that I could afford the DXG and I really wanted collections. The new screen was a bonus.

The reality is that once the newer model of a device comes out it is rare to see improvements for the older models. The programmers are working on improving the existing model and developing the next iteration. They don't have the time to take care of the past models.

Thems the breaks. My K1 works great and was wonderful the year I had it after the K2 was released. My DXG works great even without the PDF stuff and page numbers. I bought what I bought and I am enjoying what I have.
