Spellcheckers are of limited usefulness.
They don't catch it when you drop pronouns, particles or other small words your brain fills in automatically when you go too fast when looking for mistakes.
Or when you use a word that exists, but is not what you mean. "Bare with me" or "peasant hunting season", and the like.
