I'm not interested in any flame war but honestly, what is JimStar trying to achieve with his comments about the development of Cool Reader?
The source code has been published under the GPL licence, this means that everyone who modifies the source code and publishes it, has to publish the source code with all modifications as well. The reason for that is so that no one can make the big money by mostly other peoples work. Let me explain what this mean: JimStar has certainly invested a good amount of his free time into the development of the ported source code (three days) but what is the amount of time the creator of Cool Reader has put into the development? Much, much more time. And what is his reward??? So what is JimStar really looking for? Is he looking for the big pay check by pocketbook? That would be unfair wouldn't it? The creator of Cool Reader who did most of the work is not getting a penny and JimStar should be paid?
I'm not a programmer myself, but what do you think would happen if JimStar continues to refuse to publish his contribution? Yes, it is just a matter of time until another person invests three days and ports it. Don't you think so?
