Gulls ... ick. On a good day, they eat fish. On a gull's idea of a good day, they eat garbage.

Yep, the Fat Edible Dormouse. As a member of a population which considers the lobster (aka sea cockroach) a delicacy, I can't really criticize the Romans for what they ate. Actually, I've had squirrel, which was incredibly good, and that dormouse looks like it would be at least as tasty. It's gotta be better than a gull!
