I too just got a PRS-600 refurb and thought that 4 or 5 days of reading an hour a day was not a normal battery life. I called Sony support and the technician there assured me that it was perfectly normal. He said that 300 to 500 page turns would be all that was expected on a freshly charged battery. I charge it with an external Sony charger and cycle it fully. It does seem to be lasting longer then when I first got it but it now has about 5 charges under its belt and does not seem to be lasting any longer. There is no way I could get the life of what the poster above gets (2 weeks).
