Along the way, struggling with his own legacy and personal loss, he encounters Ashar'an Assassins, an ancient Necromancer, and is sentenced to the 'Sacrifice of the Serpent' after being falsely accused of murder!
At over 600 pages in length, Ashar'an Rising is aimed toward the YA fantasy reader, but will be enjoyed by any fan of classic fantasy.
