I've been lurking here for a while and have had lots of help and food for thoughts from the forum. I realized it would be just as well to register and dive in "properly".
My US friends have nagged me for quite some time to get an eReader and finally I treated myself to a Sony PRS-600 for Christmas (great Walmart bundle, a US friend got it for me). Like I could wait for Christmas! Started using it in November and fell in love!
I also bought my daughter a PRS-350 (the hot pink one, another great Walmart bundle with lighted cover). BIG mistake!! Had I just seen the PRS-600 I would have been perfectly happy with it. Now I could compare it to hers, and I got royally jealous! I thought th 5" screen would be too small for my aging eyes, but in reality the brighter pearl screen was as readable in 5" as the old touch screen in 6".
Sooooo.... I sold the PRS-600, got what I payed for it (over here prices are lots higher than in US) and my US friend got me a hot pink 350 as well.
Since I'm a tech junkie I'm thinking of getting a Nook as well, just for... well, let's face it... no particular reason at all. Just want one!
So, that's me. Got to go, got some forum catching up to do do!
