About 3:00 this morning my female cat, Lori, woke me up with this strange hissing growl sound. She was somewhere else in the house, so I ignored it the first time. Then she did it again, in the bedroom. I sat up and turned on the light, and she jumped up on the bed, hissing again -- with a big piece of packing tape stuck to the end of her tail! I guess she was investigating a box I brought home yesterday and somehow got attached to the loose tape. It took her a few minutes to settle down after that.

you inadvertant meanie!
Mr M like to play with plastic bags, but has a habit of ripping them up and spitting out the bits. I am so worried he will choke, plastic bags are kept out of cat reach!
We had a sticky tape story too. when Mr M was young (abt 6 months) we bought some wire mesh to cat proof our courtyard (waste of time the little bugger was a great escape artist). Anyway it was wrapped round and round with packing tape. When we finally unwrapped the tape we had a big messy ball of the stuff bigger than kitten. I got stuck to to his rump and he went bananas up and down the stairs with the big ball of tape chasing him. It was all we could do to stop laughing to rescue him.

Poor baby!
