Reinstall seems to be working. It's now in cycle of finishing the install and rebooting. Iirc this will take a while.

On the bright side: I think with this Windows install start I'll install the Windows 7 upgrade I got over a year ago on Sunday.
Win 7 is definitely an improvement on the predecessors...particularly Vista
