I didn't think this was the final part - I thought these last chronicles were expected to be in four parts. (According to his website the fourth and last book to be called "The Last Dark".)

I have "Against All Things Ending" sitting on my shelf. I loved the first book in this last series and read the "Fatal Revenant" not long after it came out ... but found it disconcerting, not sure if some of it seemed out of place. So I've put off reading the third book, still uncertain whether to pick it up or wait until the last book finally comes out.
