I know it is a known issue. If I remember correct I was one of the first to report it some time back. Since then, Kovid has changed the User Agent string several times and it used to work.

But this is a different issue. Now, when LT blocks calibre when importing metadata, you can see a pop-up with the description that LT is blocking calibre. You can do 4 or 5 requests to LT before this happens, and after a while, you'll be able to do more requests.

Now, without LT blocking calibre, the series info and index are not being returned. Meaning: calibre is able to connect to LT but is not able to fetch series data. That's why I asked if LT had changed their responseText or responseXML - I don't know which property Kovid is using.
