As has been repeated many times in several threads... the x50s are all charged by micro-USB connectors... the key is USB, all USB power is 5V, it's a STANDARD of 5V... current can be anything from 500mA upwards, 500mA is the standard minimum as it is the current rating for PC USB ports (except early ones which could be lower)... I use a 2A one quite happily and use it overnight... the LiOn batteries stop taking charge when fully charged...

You know what, I think I'd be more comfortable using the official sony charger. Anyone with a link to purchase it in the UK?
I'll use my PC to charge it in the meantime. However, I've heard to many unpleasant stories about this.
