Perhaps I am being too hard on the ipad. it's probably more the internet in general that bothers me. Lately I've been reading Nicolas Carrs' the Shallows and Sherry Turkles' Alone Together; they're making me very on guard about anything that could decrease my attention span or waste my time.
it just seems like the app store is a bottomless void of non-productivity.
