That is subjective. I get that the "pearl" screen is supposed to be better, but I prefer the Nook Classic screen. I don't like the grey like look of the Kindle 3.

I have the Classic Nook and the NOOKcolor and I love them both. I prefer the reader on the Color, but I do like the eink on the Classic.

Like I said previously, I think anybody should try out any reader first. Take it home and give it a good run and see what you think. If you don't like it, take it back.
