Well, after 3 hours of reading last night, 8 hours of sleep and another hour of waking up my battery is at 70% which is fairly close to what my wifes non rooted does with similar use (Seems like the first 20-30% goes really quick then it slows down, then the last 20% also goes quick.)
So so far so good after getting adb to shut down. Will just have to see how many days it can go now before needing a charge....at least it's not a matter of hours though!
