Ok, I think there are a lot of really good YA books out there. That being said, Enders Game is not a Young Adult book.

While Young Adult Books usually feature younger characters (say between 13-20), that doesn't mean that every book that features a younger character is a young adult novel. Enders Game doesn't I think really fit in any of the usual tropes for YA literature. The main character is essentially turned into a monster by the people who hope to use him to save themselves.
