Hi ................... When I first got my PRS 600 I was very dissapointed with the battery life, but I must admit it gets better the more you use it I now charge via a Sony mains charger which charges in 1 hour and you can read at the same time.
I read about 4 to 5 books per week about 2 to 3 hours per day and a bit more at the weekends a fully charges battery last about two weeks which is nowhere like the length of time quoted by Sony but I am happy with what I have.
I have never checked the page turn numbers but I would think it is nowhere near the figure quoted by Sony

I am told if I shut down each time I finish reading and don't use an SD card I would get a better battery life also using the screen for page turns uses more battery than than page turn button
