This is too funny! Forgiveness by phone? It's my experience that most Catholics these days don't use the sacrament of Confession any more. The Catholic church even changed the name, it's not called Confession anymore, it's called Reconciliation.
I thought it was funny when they told us we could do our tithe by direct deposit. I thought, yeah, so your money can go to church even if you don't!
