i noticed that "you can send an e-mail to "name"@free.kindle.com and download the files via USB in a Kindle compatible format to the device(s)."

I'm confused as to how I would do this though, can I check the free.kindle e-mail address on my pc, I thought I could only check my kindle address on the kindle?
