I use Dropbox to access my Calibre library, videos, photos, and assorted documents when I'm away from home. Dropbox offers a free account but for a fee you can have up to 50GB.

Since you can access Dropbox through a web browser it makes it very easy to set up and use. I can also RDP into my server for the same files but Dropbox is simply more convenient. Plus, I really like how Dropbox automatically syncs the files.
