You are right, it does not require any personal information to use it. However, I have been warned by some IT guys that there is the potential to cross-link system files which may allow Doukan to have similar big-brother capabilities. Probably not an issue now since there is currently no 3G access via Doukan.
Might just be scaremongering but it certainly has made me avoid it for now.
