Thank you to tmaxkc for posting that the Great Point lights are available at Costco, shrink-wrapped with 2 lights and one charger for $30. I bought it yesterday since I am particularly bothered by the disposal of coin-batteries in landfills as well as the expense of replacing them in my z-booklight, which was my preferred light until seeing the pictures of this new light. 2 lights including rechargeable batteries in each for less than what one appears to cost at Barnes&Noble -- such a deal!
And I find that with any light there is a bright spot which gradually fades towards the opposite end and the Great Point light is no different, but it is very usable and with 36 hours (the documentation claims) per charge when used on the lower-light setting (which is perfectly fine for my eyes), these should be wonderful for a long time!
