Good question. I couldn't find an option for that. A long press on the book gives a couple of options, but none to delete the book. Using another app, I deleted the book from the SD card, but the Reader app still thought it was there, although you can no longer open the book. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the app to clear up the problem I created by deleting the book.

Uninstalling the app didn't delete the books, but it seems you have to redownload everything you want anyway as if the books had been deleted.

So it seems you either never delete anything, or you have to start over completely by manually deleting the books and reinstalling the app.

It would be awesome if Sony could write software the way they build hardware!
