Blood pressure is a measure of systolic pressure over diastolic pressure, so the figure is usually given universally as, for example, "120 over 80". The numbers are actually in mmHg (millimetres of Mercury) which is a unit of pressure. If Sneaky is quoting "90" as "high", then I would suggest that this is referring to the diastolic pressure, as 120 over 80 is, in general terms, often considered the start of the "high blood pressure" region.
For cholesterol there are two measurements, one of which is a total measure of cholesterol and one of which is a ratio of two different types of cholesterol prevalent in the body. The small number Sneaky uses is the ratio (at least here in Oz, the one most often referred to) and the large number VR quotes is the total.
