Teadonkey, the Bible navigation on the Kindle is quite simple and convenient once you learn it. Good publishers offer Active TOC which allows you to jump from the TOC straight to the book, and then verse in mind.
I still use my hard copy Bible but my husband has completely switched to the Kindle one. He usually finds verses much faster than I do

recommendation - we have that particular Bible version on our Kindle, it's very well-done. Another version we use and like is
this, but it takes a bit longer to learn to navigate but after a while it is very convenient. You can download samples for both of them and just see how they feel on your Kindle.
