Exactly! That is why I am allowed cheese twice a week!

You can do it, Sneaky. You've got a bike!

(Have you been to the Council website for their bike route maps down your end of the Coast?) And it's only going to get cooler from here on in, so riding'll get more pleasant.
Going low on satfat foods isn't all that bad, though it takes a willingness to learn new recipes (and not just from the "Healthy Heart" cookbook - there's a lot of recipes in high-end cookbooks that are both delicious and good for you) and find your fresh foods.
Good for you avoiding the pills. The Loved One got put on those when we got up here (his cholesterol level hadn't changed - the measure of what was acceptable had

). They did unpleasant things to him. The Loved One had a major heart attack that near killed him 20 years ago - he was 18 stone at the time, and lived stressed and binging. That kind of changed his life, but in good ways.
You can do it, Sneaky. I'm losing it (weight) at the moment, and my blood pressure is going down, along with The Loved One's, and we can all help each other do it.
Cheers,
Marc
