Question Belt & Braces & Backups

After crashes on PCs and a burglary a few years ago, I got into the habit of backing up everything to a stand-alone drive that then lives in my safe. For my DXG, I set Windows to display hidden files, then copied all files over.

Here's my question; if I have to get a new Kindle, can I just use that copy to over-write the files in it and effectively clone my original Kindle?

DRM books don't matter, I can just re-download those from Amazon, it's the rest - and my 3 pages of collections - that I'm asking about.

Thanks
